Hotel tax
Some hotels and restaurants add one at the bill. Tip 10% only where there is none; round up cabs, nothing for autos.
A UPI One World wallet loads up to ₹25,000 at a time and ₹50,000 a month. Hotels take international cards; expect a one-time-code step and a 1–3% forex layer on some.
Foreign cards pay about ₹200–335 per withdrawal at private banks, less at public ones, with roughly ₹10,000 per transaction. Decline dynamic currency conversion.
