Where the weekactually happens.
Most of the week happens a short walk from the venue, a second crowd gathers in the airport hotels, and the biggest sign-up is in South Mumbai. Stay where your evenings are.

So where do you stay
Four honest answers.
- 01
Most people: BKC or Kalina
Most side events and Devcon itself are a short walk or ride away. If your evenings are side events, this is the base.
Stays, closest first - 02
Flying in late or out early: the airport zone
The most rooms and the steadiest rates, and Line 3 reaches BKC from T2 in 12–18 minutes.
Compare the bases - 03
South Mumbai: visit, do not move
The Cypherpunk Congress is on 2 Nov at Nariman Point. Go by metro for the day, and again for the Diwali weekend.
Line 3, stop by stop - 04
Watch the ones under wraps
A good share of events only reveal the address after you RSVP. Expect most of them to land in BKC or Bandra.
Official schedule
Venues and dates come from the public Devcon 8 side-event calendar on Luma and the organisers' own pages, checked 13 Oct 2026. Capacities are shown only where a venue publishes them.
